Hisashi Buri Dana (It's been a while)

You know. I realize that i'm too lazy to upload 256 pictures onto my blog. So I've decided not to for now. But one day, i will, i think. And when i do, i'll make a post so that everyone can be like "oh yea! i remember that vacation that he wrote humongous posts about. I'll go check on them pictures." Yea. That's what you'll all say.

Recently, I've been playing excessive amounts of a computer game called League of Legends. Now once you reach the highest level in LoL (abbrev.), you are able to play in ranked games. Winning ranked games raises your rank (ELO), losing lowers your rank. Now, the more ranked games you play, the smaller the rank increments get. Say i've played under ten games in total. My rank for each win/lose will go up/down by 45. But when i reach around 100 games total, my rank goes up/down by 12. I personally find this system extremely annoying. Since, if by some freak event, you lose all 10 of your first games, you go down 450 points. Then, to build it back up with jumps of 12, you'd have to win 38 games. The general idea behind this is so that you can tell the skill of the player from his/her rank. But with this kind of system, there are many possibilities that could lead to extremely inaccurate ranks. But enough about games. I'm sure none of the few people who read this even want to read about the complaints of an unhappy gamer.

How has everyone's summer been? For us high schoolers, our school year begins in 6 days. Sigh, how the time goes. It seems that each year I am in school, the shorter the next year seems. It saddens me. To have my life go by in such a flash. No methods can slow down the time, and so my childhood rushes away. Most of us are 15 now (except me D;). In another year, we'll be able to drive, or at least learn how to. In 3 more years, we'll all be thinking of universities and colleges. And dreams for the rest of our lives will begin.

Cheers to the end of August.

This will be all for now. I'll see about writing more posts. But school is starting soon so we'll see.

Vacation Day 7

We got to leave later today. At 8:00 instead of 7:30. But it was pointless coz the breakfast started 30 minutes later too. Breakfast today was Frosted Flakes, Oatmeal

We're going back to Montreal today. Around 10 hour drive.

We went to another museum for our last trip but my group (family and friends) didn't participate. The museum was like the size of the Guildford Tim Hortons and admission was 15 dollars. Soo NO THANKS.

Snooze. Get off. Bathroom. Repeat.

Ate timmies and a bagel for lunch. I was thiiis close to only eating the bagel.

Snooze. Get off. Bathroom. Repeat. Again.

On the way our nice tour guide Michael put on some movies. The Tourist (which had a wtf moment) and
Mr. Bean. Personally i don't see the humor in Mr. Bean's antics. :/

Okayy. We're back in Montreal. We get a ride to the airport tomorrow morning. Then we arrive at 9:30 Vancouver time.

Vacation Day 6

Continental breakfast at Travellodge was pretty good. Something i noted about this hotel's beds were that they were very warm and comfy. Good 5 hour sleep yesterday :/. Had waffles and (good) scrambled eggs with sausage.

A bit rainy today. But hopefully it won't affect our activities.

We were just at Peggy's cove. Great views as you will see in the pictures.

Next was the huge lobster statue. There wasn't anything much except for a huge statue and some souvenir shops. Nothing important.

At the end of these vacation blog things i'll write about something i learned this trip. I got something in mind.

After the lobster statue, we went to the Irving Eco Center. Usually there are all kinds of animals there like jellyfish, birds and red foxes. But today was windy and it's not the best time of season so we didn't see anything. Still fun walking on the long long pathway though. And whistling christmas songs, wedding songs, and funeral songs with my dad. That was fun too.

On the 3 hour way to our hotel, we stopped at timmies for a bathroom break. But my dad felt bad about using their facilities without buying anything so we ended up all getting donuts. Mmm.......donuts.

Back to the drive :/

Took a stop in Campbellton and took a picture with a huge salmon statue. Ate dinner. Fish and Chips at Chez Wes. SO FREAKING OILY. YUCK1!1

To the hotel we go. Comfort Inn today.

Vacation Day 5

I'm starting to really dislike having to get up at like 6 o clock. I'm way too tired to get up at that time. And plus the hotel's breakfast sucked c**p. There was bread, bagels, 2 types of muffin, cereal, and fruit salad. And for drinks, coffee, bad ojuice (I made that one up myself :D), and mediocre apple juice. So now we're heading back to the Confederation Bridge. Today our tour will take us from P.E.I. to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

We stopped at the P.E.I Provincial house but we were too early so it wasn't open yet. So that sorta sucked. It opened 10 minutes before we had to leave. Not much missed imo.

Then we crossed the confederation bridge and stopped at some infostop close to it. We walked through a path to take some pictures on some shore-ish area. The bridge is in the photos. But we made sacrifices. Our blood. There were no less than 5 million mosquitos. Back on the bus time after going to the gift shop at the infostop to get lobster chips.

11:40 We're in Nova Scotia :)

We went to Fort Citadel in Halifax. We saw real weapons and the such and actual members of the british army. Pictures taken. Sorta boring :/

Next was Maritime museum. Mostly all it had was models of ships. There were real wooden boats on display too. And also a exhibit about gay people on ships. I learned about the Halifax Explosion. An explosion caused from 2 colliding ships. One ship had very explosive cargo. Tons were killed from the explosion and more were killed by a tsunami that was caused by the explosives. Let us mourn D:

Then we went on a Harbour-Hopper tour and cruise. A harbour-hopper is a boatcar that goes on water and land. Cool stuff. The tour in general was pretty boring though. We didn't pass anything "really" interesting. And it was raining so :P

Timmies for dinner. BLT and lemon iced green tea.

Travellodge hotel today. Got here then ate some salad for daily veggie-ness. Drinking hot chocolate right now. Gonna go sleep soon.

Vacation Day 4

So we got up at 5:20 today to get ready to go down for CONTINENTAL breakfast. There were danishes, cereal, toast (ofc), orange juice and apple juice. The pastries were pretty okay.

Today we're going from New Brunswick (Saint John) to P.E.I. I'm pretty excited coz tonight we get a lobster dinner. WAHAHAHAHAHA. AAAAAAA.
Our first destination is the Hopewell Rocks Park.

LOLOL. Our tour guide's english sucks. He said " and you guys, will have, the chance to walk on the beaches (sounded like "b****es"). And after you guys walk with the beaches (again, sounded like b****es).

We arrived at hopewell rocks park. There was a beach which was pretty cool. Took a few pictures, walked around and enjoyed the sea breeze and picked up three possibly interesting rocks. While taking a rest, another guy from our bus asked my dad a question. So they talked a bit and i told my dad "You made your first bus friend lol." Then my dad talked to the bus driver (my dad had been saying basic french to the bus driver like merci and bleh that i taught him) and told him i spoke some french. So then the driver starts talking to me and we chat a bit. I was nervous as heck. But it all turned out better than expected. So i made my first bus friend on this tour :D yaaaay.

Passed the chocolate river. Actually looks like chocolate. I'll see if i can get a picture.

Also, i'll try and get a picture with Alan the bus driver.

We stopped fot lunch and since we weren't having buffet goodness, the group went to burger king. But i went to McDs. And then my mom made me take my McChicken and my McMedium Drink to BK. Embarassing. x_x

We're going to Magnetic Hill now. Excited :D

Well we tested out the magnetic hill's powers on our bus and it worked. But later we discovered the true reason. We couldn't read the true horizontal so we thought we were moving uphill. But really, the hill was downhill. So we were tricked D:

We're heading to P.E.I. now. But we're stopping at the Anne of Green Gables first.

Crossing Confederation Bridge 12.9km long to get to P.E.I.

P.E.I. Shore soil is pree red o_o

Our last stop of the day was at Cavendish Beach. I picked up a bit of red sanddirt. I also picked up 2 red rocks. Those are my souvenirs of P.E.I.

Our hotel today is causeway hotel. It isn't a executive room though :(

WOOOW. I just had a dinner of soup, mussel, salad, lobster, drinks, and ice cream crêpe for dessert. Full as heck. Tasty stuff.

In the room. Chargin ipod on computer and watching Futurama.

That's it for today. 3 more tour days.

Montreal Day 3

4:25 in the morning. Time to wake up. Get ready to go on the 4 day 5 province tour. Ah. All ready. Time to eat breakfast. Then dad comes over to put a plate back on the table. Puts on table then comes back and accidentally backhands the cup of water i was drinking from. 80% on my pants 20% on the floor. Change pants. Walk to the metro before the gates can be used. Gates start up. Enter subway. Recent events briefly described. Ding! Complete.

Tour bus is equipped with a/c, lights, call for help button, trash bags per pair of seats, comfy chairs t.v. and...other standard stuff. Oh and a toilet in the back.

Apparently the culprit of my bug bite was a bee. QQ

Goodbye buffet. :(

Passed St. Lawrence river.

Ate lunch at Mcdonalds. Mcrib. Mmm.

Passed some indian-named river.

Passed St. John River.

Stopped at Grand Falls.

Passed farmer fields.

Stopped at the longest covered bridge in the world. 1282 feet.

Off to Fredericton. We stopped there and got some KFC to take to the hotel for dinner.

Bus ride. Tour guide put on Charlie Chaplin. This film/guy is pretty funny even if it's/he's old.

We got to our hotel. Howard-Johnson. When we got here though, our room wasn't on the same floor as our friends. So a series of unfortunate events took place. But in the end we got a seventh floor executive room. Still......away from our friends x_x but in their stead we got a hot tub, microwave and minifridge. :D

Just now i enjoyed a bath and shower. Brushed teeth, mouthwashed, and then drank hot tea. About to sleep now. Goodnight.

Montreal Day 2

I had the. Worst. Morning. Ever. I had to wake up at 10:00. Then i had to take a shower in a very squeezed space. With a fly somewhere in the premises coz i lost track of it. But then i ate a nectarine and it was all cool. We went to timmies for breakfast and i wrapped up my blt for lunch later. Then we went on the subway. Transferred (see Day 1) and now we're in St. Joseph's Oratory. Them candle altar things are cool stuff. I'll write more when we go somewhere else. Now we're going up the elevator in the Oratory. They have a picture timeline of brother Andre's life. Still no idea what he did. Oh. Apparently Brother Andre founded this Oratory. They have his heart on display. Like. Actual heart. Creeeepy. Just walked along a path that had Jesus's entire life carved out in stone. As you walk along the path you see statues. The statues tell Jesus's story along the way. Walkway description complete. Oh wait. It appears i got my Christian wrong. Apparently Jesus had 12 followers. There were around 12+ statues. 12 statues with 12 different followers taking turns carrying one cross. And one of the followers got Jesus staked on the cross. So that was the story the statues told. Walkway description version 2 complete. Lunchtime. Mmm....BLT. Also, i forgot to mention, i got a bug bite. Luckiky one of our travel companions had some "Melagel." So now it doesn't itch.

Edit : I WAS WRONG. SO WRONG. THE MELAGEL WORE OFF. IT ITCHESS!!!! It ITCHESS!!!!

SUBWAAAYY. Lots of transferring. Blue line to orange line to green line. My god. Subways are sooo hot. Stupid undergroundness.

Aha! We found a mall. Place Montreal Trust. That means relaxing on benches and A/C. Shoppity Shop Shop Shopping time. By shopping I mean the girls shop and the men go find a seat.

LOLOLOLOL My dad just told me a story about when he was 17. His brother's friend lent him a 0.45mm bullet airgun. His brother then lent it to my dad who shot it at a small bird around 25 meters away on a electric line (pretty much a telephone line ( he hoped to take it, bake it, and eat it ) The bullet just skimmed the bird's head. Then the bird fell to the ground. Alive. So my dad goes downstairs ( He was on the third or second floor of the house ) and he picks up the bird takes it into the house and tries mending the wound. But the bird died shortly after. My dad was then too sad to eat it. It was funny because at first I thought that the bird died of shock. But then it got unfunny. For. Some. Reason. :l BACK TO WALKING. LATER.

Just saw a few cosplayers. Cool stuff. Noo idea who they were. That is all. They looked okay. Not bad. But then again. No idea who they were.

K waaay more cosplayers. I swear there's some cosplay convention somewhere. In fact, i bet 10 dollars. I wanna go. But no idea where. Saw an edward elric (male) and a pikachu (female). Saw a yuffie kisaragi (female) a ash ketchum (male) the power stone main character (male) 3 akatsuki (2female) (1male) another ash ketchum (kidmale). Forgot to mention, saw a fail cosplay/anime choses store. But now It's time for another asian dinner so no more cosplay. More later.

Well they wouldn't fix the beef in one of the dishes so we left. Coz my pappers don't eat beef. Back to Keeung Kee we go. 15-20 minute wait this time tho. Saw a female pink-haired Altaïr.

OHHH MYY GOD. THAT FOOD WAS SOO GOOOOD. Bye bye 3 bowls of rice and hello stomach lump. I can't even flex what little abs i have now ;(

Subway time again. Saw two people dressed up as the Kagamine twins. So I ask my dad for the camera and take a good-enough picture of them. But i try taking another picture but it turns out crappy. So i say out loud "that's a crappy photo." I then delete the bad one. Afterwards my mom asks me to take another picture of the subway coz it's old. So i do that. Then later, i give the camera back to my dad. My mom comes over and asks the pappy to show her the pictures. So my dad turns on the camera, looks at the subway picture, then scrolls over to the okay version of the photo of the twins. Thinking that it's the bad copy, he presses the trashcan icon. I shouted out but his finger had already started its course over to the "yes" button. And poof. There goes the picture. I then spazz out at my dad and I am currently in a state of intense rage towards him. But since something within me won't let me keep a grudge towards someone for more than a day, I'll probably unintentionally forgive him. But still CANNOT BELIEVE HE DELETED THAT PHOTO. They were dressed up pretty well. Blonde with correct clothing. Pretty accurate heights too. Waaahh. <;( / >:(

Saw a like....7 year old kid toting a ipad. lol.

Montreal Day 1

So today was out first day in montreal. We got here at 7:02am montreal time. Which is 3:00am vancouver time. I had a pretty crappy day that day (It's Day 2 right now). I ate pretty much nothing for lunch and breakfast. All I had for the two meals was a chicken salad sandwich from Timmies. Then for dinner we had food at some "Keeung Kee" place. There was a lot. A LOT. Of walking done yesterday. The day went pretty slow because of the time-change. There were some good parts of the day though. Throughout the day, we went on the subway a ton. Switching subways now. Brb. Saving draft.

I realise that telling you i'm switching subways doesn't really make a difference since i'll post this altogether either way. Changing again. Bye.

I think i'll finish writing this at home since writing Day 2 as it happens is probably better than writing Day 1 during the next day. Same for the rest

Luggages

Luggage. D: I wanted to take a picture of it all but we don't have all the luggage bags out yet. Sigh. So much preparing to do. But i'm too lazy to do it.

I Wonder..

Will I be able to blog in Montreal?

Finalz

Well, to everyone who has summer school and finals tomorrow, good luck. I don't have any tests so i'm carefree. Although the only person I can think of that has a test tomorrow is N.C. I have reaaaallly bad memory. Anyway, good luck to you all, hope you all pass. Even though only like 3 people will read this. As you are all doing your tests, I will be on a plane to Montreal. Have fun :D

:(

Man. I know i said i'd Google up blogging awesomeness but....I can't find any. This is one of the most annoying things that I've ever actually "wanted" to do. Time to think of a way to spread my blog around...Otherwise i'd be making this blog so that i could read it myself and that's just....not cool.

Dangg

Wow. I did not think that making a blog would be this hard. Fanciness is gonna be difficult. I'm jealous of the other people who actually know how to do this stuff. Whoopty-doo. Time to Google myself a guide to blogging awesomeness. OH DUDE! THIS IS THE FIRST BLOG I'VE EVER WRITTEN. THINGS TO DO BEFORE  I DIE! Check off blogging.
